Premiere: KVL announces debut LP “Volume 1” via Tiny Mix Tapes

Many thanks to Tiny Mix Tapes for the lovely writeup and premiere of “North Branch,” the first track off of KVL’s debut LP, Volume 1. For those that don’t know, KVL is the long-standing Chicago trio of QUIN KIRCHNER, DANIEL VAN DUERM & MATTHEW LUX. Volume 1 is the first in a series of releases from the improv trio to highlight what it is they do best. The album also features special guest JAIMIE BRANCH on the track “Peaceable.”
KVL Volume 1 is out November 15th on 180 gram vinyl. First pressing of 500 copies, with 100 copies on OPAQUE ORANGE vinyl that will only be available from Astral Spirits or the artist directly!!
